Our Old Pet

Meet Patches! Our new classroom pet. He is a male mouse and we have been learning what he likes and dislikes. Check back here for more photos and stories about our new friend Patches!

Patches is a tricky mouse. He escaped from his cage twice so Miss Zeier bought a new cage for him. he loves his new wheel. Mice are nocturnal which means he sleeps in the day. He likes to sleep in his castle. He always comes out to play when Sam and I are trying to clean his cage.

Our pet kiwi that we want to send overseas to another school is watching over Patches. We are still thinking of a name for him. We want a NZ name. At the moment we like the name L&P. What do you like?
